Citizen Sound’s debut album explores early sound system culture and its continuous influence on the music scene worldwide, particularly within the Canadian music scene. Producer Aram Scaram teams up with some of Canada’s premier singers & musician’s to help bring his home-grown vision to life. The end result is an exciting fusion of dub, reggae, soul & hip-hop that pays tribute to the foundational roots, while simultaneously taking the sound into the future.
The album features Juno winners Blessed, Dubmatix, Prince Blanco, & Richard Underhill, along with contributions from rising stars Ammoye, Treson, Grand Analog & Len Bowen. Accomplished musicians Andrew Thompson, David Buchbinder and Nate Wize round out the roster of exceptional Canadian talent featured on this release.
